Set in the picturesque Cheshire countryside on a small equestrian centre Sandhole Cottages offer four beautiful and unique self-catering holiday cottages with private hot tubs to sleep between two – six people. Our dog friendly cottages welcome up to two well behaved dogs, they even receive their own welcome goodies. We also offer holiday accommodation for your horse with stables and paddocks for up to four horses.
Our Grade 2 listed holiday cottages are finished to the highest of standards with touches of indulgence throughout. As part of your stay you will be welcomed by fresh flowers, a bottle of organic fizz and sweet treats. Our fully equipped holiday cottages also offer everything you need for the perfect self-catering escape in the Cheshire countryside.
Ideal for couples, families or a group of likeminded friends we are just 20 minutes from the M6, 20 minutes from the historic city of Chester. For horse, dog and outdoor lovers the stunning Delamere Forest just a short drive away. For those looking for a more sedate and indulgent stay the cottages are equipped with all you will need for a truly relaxing holiday with your own private hot tub and patio to enjoy the serenity of your surroundings in the Cheshire countryside. Step out of your cottage and you can take a meandering walk to one of the local village pubs for supper.
With sustainability and the environment in mind we have lovingly restored these old barns into stunning holiday cottages for you to enjoy. Pared back surroundings are scattered with original features and added luxuries. Where we can we have reclaimed, restored and reused. We strive to be carbon neutral through our use of solar panels and ground source heat pumps providing energy and water to your cottage.
