From the M56 take junction 10 at the A49 exit towards Northwich/Warrington. At the roundabout take the exit onto Tarpoley rd/A49 signposted Whitchurch and continue for 4.4 miles heading straight across at traffic lights. After crossing Acton Swing Bridge take the first right onto Acton Lane. Acton Lane becomes Strawberry Lane which will then bear left to join Hill Top road. When you reach the Hazel Pear pub junction, take a right onto Milton Rough / Station Hill/ B5153. Follow for 1.3 miles and at the red phone box, turn left onto Bent Lane. After 0.2 miles, turn right onto Marsh Lane. After approximately 0.7 miles turn Left onto Sandhole Lane which is immediately beside the red house. Please note, it is signed unsuitable for motor vehicles but please ignore this, as it is perfectly passable to Sandhole Cottages and Livery. After approx 200 yards you will find first and only drive on right. Welcome to Sandhole Cottages and Livery.

Acton Bridge is 2 miles away and is serviced by trains from Manchester Piccadilly.
